I created this Posterous to share a little bit of my passion for my doll collecting of Daphne (Tonner dolls).
Daphne is a character created by Robert Tonner for the Brenda Starr line. She came up in 2004. The Brenda Starr ended in the fall collection of 2007. But Tonner saw the huge success of the Daphne face sculpt and kept her, sometimes popping up in exclusive dolls. In 2009, she came again in the regular Tyler Wentworth line as Daphne the granddaughter of Daphne Dimples from the 40`s. Now sometimes the face sculpt games out in convention dolls.
